Michael Slagel established this family run business 50 years ago. Michael's son Neil joined the business in 1975 becoming Managing Director in 1991 During Neil's stewardship, Petite Star has significantly increased its product and customer base.

Neil has a wealth of experience within the retail industry and an unrivalled understanding of major Far East production techniques and protocol. He is a member of the British Standards Institute Committee that controls the UK standardisation of baby products in the UK, and is a member of the CEN committee, which legislates for European nursery goods. In addition, Neil is an Executive Member of the Baby Products Association.

We also have an experienced British team based in China at one of our major manufacturers who oversee development and production and constantly review quality and ethical views of existing & new suppliers.
